Friday Feelings
It's been a fun week at the Weber household. If by fun I mean lots of snotty noses, sleepless nights, crying/screaming babies, and an unshowered mommy for going on two...no maybe three days then you know what kind of fun I am talking about.
But perfect timing it was. I write out our weekly calendar every Sunday and I made the comment to Andy, "wow, we literally have nothing on the calendar this week...no place to be...no meetings...nothing." Silly, silly me.
Sweet Maddy and her future husband best friend both came down with RSV this week. Her little man seemed to get the worst of the breathing issues but Maddy had her share mixed with a nasty ear infection and an eardrum about to rupture.
That is where the screaming entered in our home. Screaming and abnormal behavior. I mean bucking her little body trying to get out of your arms, crazy behavior! And everytime she has put up a fight to share that she is still in some sort of discomfort, my heart has broke. After all we are talking about the girl who is happy 99.999999999% of the time. And now she was trying to practically jump out of our arms almost like saying "FIX ME!!" And oh baby girl if you only knew how much I wish I could fix you.
The rest of the crew has come down with the "cold" of what form RSV comes in for older kids and adults except for daddy. Daddy has been rockin the vitamins and hitting the gym. Go daddy!! And so far, should I dare type it...he is healthy! And since these are my Friday Feelings I might as well share that my husband is a hotty...he's mine...and the gym has been treating him well! SO PROUD OF HIM! Now I should probably get my booty in gear with the workout stuff...I think I will just start with the shower!
Not that the shower really matters except for the hotty who has to come home and see me. Because we are in quarantine until the RSV settles since it is highly contagious! Again, thankful for a quiet calendar.
On a totally side note, I have had this song stuck in my head OVER AND OVER again this week. Thanks to the 'Lady and the Tramp' commercial on the T.V. And let me tell you it is quite catchy. And Zachary and I can show you quite the dance moves! Don't worry you won't be seeing a video of that anytime soon. But there's something about it...you just can't sing it once.
Well since the littles are napping, I am going to take advantage of my shower moment and yes I will probably be singing my new tune in there too...because after all, every song sounds better in the shower!
Happy weekend to you!

I'm so sorry that you guys have been sick too, and poor Maddy with RSV and an ear infection! Ouch! Hope you guys feel better soon!
Hopefully next week will be a ton better for you. I hope Maddy feels better soon!
