Friday Feelings

The other day I was downloading pictures from the camera to the computer. After they were all downloaded, I went through and organized them. I put some in "Holidays," others in the "Family" folder. As I was dumping files, I came across this one that was tucked away in the wrong assigned folder. As I stared at it I started to think.

I thought about how much Madelyn has changed. How fast these last 6 months have gone by. I thought about how I miss how she could fit all snuggly in her sling. And then I thought about what made me stand in front of the mirror that day. Why did I want to remember that moment?

Did I want to remember what my days consisted of? Did I want to remember what she looked like all snuggled up? Did I want to look back and laugh at the size of her paci on her face? What was it that made me "click" at that moment?

And as I look at that picture now I am so glad I took it. Still not sure why I did. But I want to remember the moments of carrying my little ones. It makes me think I'm glad I "click" a lot of moments as I watch my little ones grow. I am glad I "click" my mommy moments with them. So this Friday, I think I will go "click" away some more...

What a sweet post, Pam! I can TOTALLY understand why you snapped that picture. What a sweet memory you captured. I have thousands and thousands of pictures of my children - but a very small amount of pictures of me with my children. Those pictures are a treasure!

Looking forward to some more "clicks". Love that picture not only of Maddie but also of my little girl doing what she loves to do. Capturing memories!
Thanks for sharing your heart and the joys of seeing all of you even though we're far apart! Love you!
